What are your goals? If you do not know specifically what they are they will be hard to achieve, if not impossible. Many times when you are in the confusion of life, whether it is a job change, fighting with a spouse, etc. you don’t necessarily know what your goal is. So take the time to think about what it is you want and write it down!
Paul, the author and disciple of most of the New Testament knew what his goal was, “To know Christ”, he also knew that it was a life long goal and one that would be reached fully after this life;
“I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I always do. Forgetting the past and straining towards what is ahead, I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above.” Philippians 3:13-14
The message of this scripture is one of hope! In other words, don’t lose sight of the goal! You will achieve your goal if you keep going and forget the past.
If you want a great marriage, keep that goal at the forefront of your mind. Write it down and place notes around your house. Forget past offenses and move forward with a clear cut plan on how to achieve your great marriage. You will only fail if you give up! Never give up if you truly want to achieve your goal.
If your goal is to have a job that you enjoy, keep that at the forefront of your mind and develop specific plans for achieving the job you desire.
Goals can be achieved! Most people lack focus and specific plans on how to achieve their goals. They also harbor heavy weights that keep them from achieving their goals.
Drop the weights! Press forward keeping the focus and the hope and you will achieve your goals!
Have a wonderful weekend!
I wish you many blessings and great success!
