I have left the Mormon Church and now so many of my friends and family members will not include me in their gatherings. I feel isolated and alone. I also swing back and forth with feelings of fear that maybe I may have made a mistake.
Dear Never Alone,First of all be assured that God loves you and that nothing can separate you from the love of God. Romans 8:38-39. The feelings that you are experiencing are very common. You have been involved in a twisted religion that has part truth woven through it. Your belief and testimony of God is one that is sincere, it just needs to have clarity brought to it. The more you study God’s Word and search out everything you can about the Mormon Church and it’s history, the more you will gain clarity and confirmation that you made the right decision. Remember God is not a god of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33. As for the isolation that you feel from family members and friends keep in mind that they are walking in fear, the fear that possibly they will be in the same position as you are in once they discover the truth. Keep reassuring them of your love and stand firm in the faith. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong” 1 Corinthians 16:13. God will take care of all of your needs. He will supply friendship and fellowship if you will allow the body of Christ to walk with you. Remember you are never alone. God Bless you,
