Coaching That Delivers
Have you discovered your purpose? There are often many purposes throughout our lives. Perhaps your great purpose right now is to reconcile your marriage, or maybe to build your business and bring in a greater income for your family. Maybe your purpose is to get your health back.
Regardless of your purpose, it is only the first step to achieving it, the next step is being committed to your purpose.
Our intents and purposes can be great, like having a great marriage, but if we are not committed to that purpose then the great intentions we have will fall away under pressure and hard times.
Think about the early church and their purpose of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ, if they were not committed to their great purpose they would have cowered away from that purpose when the persecution began.
This was the case for many, including Peter who denied Christ three times. So, what caused Peter to later be so committed to his purpose that he no longer denied Christ, but faithfully committed himself until death?
It was because Peter saw the resurrected Jesus! It was this experience of seeing the Lord that he no longer denied Him, but instead gave his life for Him.
This experience of Christ’ resurrection gave Peter the confidence for his own future.
If we can be like Peter and “capture” the vision for our future, we will be committed to our purposes until the end.
For example, if you can capture in your mind’s eye the vision of your great marriage, what things will be like when you have reconciled and refined your marriage, you will then be committed to this vision even during difficult times. You will be able to say, “I have “seen” what our life together reconciled looks like, I am in this for the long haul, through good times and bad!”
Having an “experience” through godly vision is what will keep one committed to their purpose!
God says, ”
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18
He also tells us “not to give up doing that which is good, for at just the right time you will reap your harvest.” Galatians 6:9
The above verses are encouraging us to keep our vision for the reward which is ahead of us!
Often times when we are vulnerable, going through hard times it is hard to keep our vision for the good that lies ahead. This is what is so great about the YKI method of coaching, we give you great vision for your future and offer that vision in a form of godly meditation. We even record it for you so you can listen to it again and again. Faith comes by hearing and when you hear your beautiful meditation again and again it will strengthen your faith and your vision.
We are here for you, to strengthen you and to give you a great vision for your future!
Respond here to me and let me know what your current purpose is and your commitment to it?
God bless you, have a wonderful day!
